My client Horizon Specialized Transportation is experiencing a period of fast growth after restructuring their business model. With that growth came the need to increase their marketing strategy and visibility as an authorized agent of Airways Freight without losing their current branding as Horizon Specialized Transportation.

Ultimately a press release is written to distribute something news worthy. For the majority of people that are not familiar with the structure and purpose of press releases, it is the belief that a press release is an opportunity to clearly ask for the sale. This is not the case. A press release should be written with enough excitement and buzz to increase a brand’s following which ultimately leads to sales but doesn’t blatantly ask for the sale.
As a start-up, my client InCrowd is providing the first real-time mobile market research platform for pharmaceutical and healthcare professionals. The public relations strategy I developed was to schedule press releases for certain milestones and new client partnerships. The first press release was written to create interest in the platform by sharing how and why it will benefit potential clients.
